The International Project Spending database coverage includes four industry categories: Power, Petroleum Refining, Chemical Processing and Metals & Minerals. Full coverage consist of the initial delivery of approximately 3,600 active projects (actual number determined by project completion date), with monthly deliveries reflecting new project activity and updates to existing projects. Monthly deliveries range from 120 to 125 projects per month (full coverage) and vary depending on industry coverage. The density maps below, which were created using IIR's Plant Geolocator software tool, summarize IIR's database coverage and provide an illustration of how project information can be queried to display pertinent information on industry coverage and project densities.
