Coverage in the Chemical Processing industry consists of a phone verified database of 4,478 operational plants in North America with over 25,600 unique decision making contacts with over 31,000 functional management responsibilities.
Each month, IIR updates plant database information with changes that have taken place, including plant closings or new plant start ups. In 2001, 165 chemical processing plants officially closed, while 26 new plants started up. Based on worldwide economic conditions, more consolidations are taking place effecting plant operations. IIR’s current active project information based on a June 2002 completion date and beyond consists of approximately 1,200 projects representing $40.5 billion. In 2001, IIR reported 1002 Project Reports with a TIV (Total Investment Value) of $23.1 billion.
