We are excited to announce the next set of enhancements scheduled for release to industrialinfo.com. Following is a preview of some of the features you can expect to see. These features will release and be available to you on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Please email us with any questions. asksoftwaresupport@industrialinfo.com.
Member Center "Ask Us" Message Tracking
Based on user feedback, we have created a management center for one of the most popular feedback features of the website. Through the Member Center "Ask Us" tab - you will have instant access to all questions/comments you send in through the Ask Us feature. You can see real time which department is working on your question, comments posted by our research experts and all issues - both resolved and unresolved.

After you submit a question through Ask Us - you will see a window with a link to the Member Center. Once in the Member Center, this easy-to-use interface enables you to search based on several different criteria, and to sort on a number of options so you can always manage your Open questions. By opening a question, you can quickly see when it was created and resolved, a link to the report (when applicable), your question/comment and the resolution (answer).

Once the expert assigned to your question has provided a resolution, you will receive an email with details and a link to your original question in the "Ask Us" tab in Member Center.

Create and Manage Saved Search Alert
This eagerly awaited enhancement delivers data from selected Saved Searches on the day and the time you need it. Within each search tool, you'll notice another column on your Saved Searches tab called Alert.

Clicking this link brings up a window that enables you to turn an alert on or off, set the date and time of delivery, and choose whether to receive the alert in HTML or Text format.

Within each search tool, you can set alerts on up to five individual searches. To quickly check which Saved Search Alerts are active, we added an "On" column which identifies them with a green check mark.
PowerCast & PetroCast European Outages
Quickly analyze individual country outages worldwide as soon as you log into PetroCast or PowerCast Live.

In the left column, you will notice an additional layer of information for each European region. Just expand the region and all countries and their total MW outs are available instantly.

You can also see each outage, the country it is in and the MW out for that country by selecting a European region. Not only are all associated outages will displayed by country, but you can also use the column headers to sort.

Expanded Selection of Refinery Tracker Graphs
For any query you run, the Refinery Tracker Unit Search will have seven new interactive graphs that capture each unit's specific output capacity.

You will be able to graph and query by:
BBL/d    Ton/d
MLbs/Yr        Scf/d
MW        Gal/d

In each graph, you will be able to toggle between graphing your search results by Capacity and Unit Count.
Powerful Graphing added to Outage Search

PowerCast Live Outage Search just became an even more powerful tool with the addition of 10 new graphs that toggle between Megawatts Offline and Outage Count.

Worldwide outages will be graphed by logical groups such as Country, Fuel Types, Start Date by Month and All Unit Types.

Because these graphs are interactive, you can use the details view to narrow the results by dragging and dropping records from the top grid to the bottom grid.

The PowerTracker Outage Search also features a new graph called Output Usage by Date. This graph takes your result set and graphs by both Count and by Megawatts over a default timeframe of two years or by specific dates if they're included in your query.
