Current LNG News:

Over the past two years the idea of importing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to North America has become increasingly justifiable as natural gas prices continues to climb. Constructing LNG receiving terminals is now at the forefront as a possible solution to bridge the gap between natural gas supplies and demand growth. In North America there are only a few LNG import terminals in operation today. However, the drive to build more receiving terminals could create an abundance of new opportunities for equipment and service providers.

Currently there are over 45 new receiving terminals in various stages of development. The minimum investment to construct a new LNG receiving terminal ranges from $200 million to $1 billion or more for terminal storage facilities, marine transfer facilities, and distribution pipelines.

North American LNG Database

Industrialinfo.com has compiled the details of these facilities in a new product called the LNG Database. The majority of the projects cover new LNG receiving terminals to be located in the US, Canada or Mexico as well as new LNG production trains in the Gulf of Mexico. Also included are planned and ongoing expansion projects at existing LNG terminals throughout North America.

International Project Coverage

The new LNG database will now include special coverage outside North America. Each month additional projects will cover LNG production trains and LNG import/export terminals in various countries. These projects can range from a minimum investment of $100 million to over $4 billion depending on production capacity.

Online Database Subscription

The LNG Database subscription includes online access to active projects with monthly deliveries that include new projects and upgrades. Dynamic project updating is also available supporting project timing and status changes. Users receive access to LNG Plant Profiles that include key management contacts, expanded plant details, and company information. A Premium News subscription is also included that gives users access to daily industry news covering plant and project trends exclusive to industrialinfo.com’s research.
