Capital Project Tracking

North America Capital Project Coverage
Industrialinfo.com provides in-depth capital project coverage for the Petroleum Refining industry. Our database currently consists of over 700 active projects valued at $26 billion. As a subscriber, active projects become your starting point to our service, then as each month passes, we issue reports on new or upgraded projects at the rate of 45 per month (North America Full Coverage).

International Capital Project Coverage
Industrialinfo.com also provides coverage across all international world regions for the Petroleum Refining industry. Currently there are over 200 active projects valued at $12.5 billion that subscribers can access. On an annual basis, we provide up to 150 new or upgraded projects that are delivered monthly.

Project Qualification:
We understand equipment and services companies need enough lead-time to act on a project. This is why we have set a specific reporting guideline that dictates a project must have 4-6 month lead-time on request for quotation (RFQ) and or bid documents (Bid Doc) in order for us to report the project. We also provide major project activity valued at $1 million for all North American projects, and $25 million and greater for international project reporting.

Project Types:
With our direct research methodology, we uncover the hard-to-find projects that never reach the corporate pressroom. In our capital project coverage, you will find projects on Process Unit Expansions, Additions, Debottlenecks, Retrofits, Revamps, DCS Upgrades, wastewater treatment systems, and Air Pollution Control and Reduction Equipment Additions. For the refining industry in the US and other world countries, environmental compliance issues have been a major driver for capital spending. The Reformulated Gasoline (RFG), Tier 2 Low Sulfur Gasoline Standards and related diesel requirement (US & Europe) will cause refiners to spending billions of dollars over the next 5-years.

Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP’s) reduction programs (Worldwide) will require refiners to lower NOx, SOx, Particulates and Hydrogen Sulfide levels and invest in emission control systems such as Low NOx Burners, Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR), Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP’s), FCCU flue gas scrubbers, and flare gas recovery systems.
