Installed Base



The Installed Base includes over 260 operational refineries located in North, Central and South Americas and Europe representing over 4,300 processing and utility units. Each refinery includes Key Management, Engineering and Supervisory contacts at the plant, area and unit levels as well as unit details that include unit type, technology, operational status & capacities, start-up and closure dates.

Major processing units include: Crude Units, Fluid & Thermal Catalytic Cracking Units, Reformers, Cokers & Hydrocrackers. Other supporting units include Hydrotreaters, Sulfur Recovery & Tail Gas Treatment, Air Separation, Hydrogen Production & Recovery, and utilities such as Boiler, and Wastewater Treatment.

Information at the Plant, and Unit levels are maintained and updated continuously to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information. Accessing the Refinery database can be done online through the Refinery Tracker or provided in IIR’s Geolocator mapping software program.
