SUGAR LAND--January 10, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--OCI Solar Power's Alamo I project in Texas began delivering power to CPS Energy's grid as of December 18, 2013. Alamo I generates energy for about 6,600 homes that are served by CPS Energy. The facility will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 60,000 tons, which is equivalent to removing about 10,000 cars off the road in the San Antonio area.
