ISSF: Global Stainless Steel Production Reaches 38.1 Million Tons in 2013, with Strongest Growth in Second Half
JOHANNESBURG--March 27, 2014--Written by Richard Finlayson, Senior International Editor for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--All global regions, except for Western Europe and Africa, saw growth in stainless steel melt shop production in 2013, according to preliminary figures released by the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) (Brussels, Belgium). Global production increased 7.8% to 38.1 million metric tons.
