U.S. DOE Picks Three Projects for Offshore Wind Demonstration Program
SUGAR LAND--June 23, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) (Washington, D.C.) recently selected three offshore wind energy demonstration projects to advance to the second phase of its plan to make such operations a commercial reality by 2017. The projects are eligible for up to $46.7 million of additional funding by the DOE, subject to Congressional approval and annual progress reviews.
