ALWAY, IRELAND--June 24, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Siemens AG (NYSE:SI) (Munich, Germany) has clinched a contract worth €208 million ($283 million) to supply turbines and equipment for the new Jaworzno III coal-fired plant in southern Poland.

The company has been contracted to supply a turbine island for the delayed Jaworzno III project, comprising the SST5-6000 steam turbine.
