Texas to Lead Other States in Wind Power Development, ERCOT Says
SUGAR LAND--July 2, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) (Austin, Texas) expects wind capacity additions to increase by thousands of megawatts in the next couple of years, with Texas adding more wind-generated power than any other state. Industrial Info is tracking 26 Texas wind generation capital projects, at more than $10.7 billion in total investment value, that are scheduled to begin construction between June 2014 and December 2015.
