Irish Power Plant Sees First Fire-Up

GALWAY, IRELAND--September 25, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) One of Ireland's largest power projects has been successfully fired-up for the first time at Great Island, County Wexford.

The Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power station located on the shores of Waterford Harbour at Great Island, has achieved first fire-up and been synchronised to the electricity grid for the first time.
