Germany Cutting Aid for Foreign Coal Power Plants

GALWAY, IRELAND--September 26, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Germany looks set to follow in the U.K.'s footsteps by severely limiting investment in foreign coal-fired power plants.

The Environment Ministry has announced that it is planning to limit the amount of investment that the state-owned development bank, KfW, can invest into coal-fired projects outside of the country.
