Alberta, Saskatchewan to Beef Up Renewable Energy

SUGAR LAND--December 23, 2016--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Boralex (Kingsey Falls, Quebec) and Alberta Wind Energy Corporation (Calgary, Alberta) have formed a partnership that aims to develop renewable energy projects in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The partnership, Alberta Renewable Power Limited, will submit projects for the Alberta Electric System Operator's (AESO) upcoming Renewable Electricity Program (REP). The REP is intended to encourage the development of 5,000 megawatts of renewable generation to the Alberta electrical grid by 2030.
