SUGAR LAND--March 21, 2022--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--As the electric vehicle market has grown substantially in the past few years, there is still room for the larger vehicle end of the market, namely for pickup trucks, vans and SUVs. Rivian Automotive Incorporated (NASDAQ:RIVN) (Irvine, California) seemed poised to capture a good share of that market, with production of three vehicles in that very market--the R1T electric pickup, the R1S electric SUV and the RSV electric commercial van, and the capability to produce up to 50,000 vehicles a year at its plant in Normal, Illinois.
