BTC Pipeline Carries 5.23 Million Tons of Oil in First Two Months of 2012

ISTANBUL, TURKEY--March 15, 2012--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--A total of 5.23 million metric tons, or about 731,800 barrels per day, of crude passed through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in first two months of the year, a BTC spokesman said. The amount transferred via pipeline declined 8.8% from a year earlier.
