PEC® Timing C1 PEC® Activity Construction - Merit Shop
Scope OWNER awards E&C (E+P+C/M) to perform Preliminary Engineering for a Polystyrene Unit Addition. DETAILS: Construct new unit and install process (INEOS' technology) plus supporting equipment to produce 200,000 Metric T/yr High-Impact Polystyrene. REQUIRES: Reactor Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Towers, Separators, Condensers, Compressors (Gas & Air), Pumps, Motors, Piping (SS & Carbon), Pipe Racks, Temperature Sensors, Flowmeters, Control Valves, Tanks. ENVIRONMENTAL: (A) Scrubbers; (L) Liners.
Schedule OWNER and E&C continue with Preliminary Engineering through 3Q08 (Aug). Upon completion of Detailed Engineering, E&C will release RFQ's and OWNER will release Subcontractor Bid Documents 4Q08 (Dec)-1Q09. Proposed Construction Kick-Off 1Q09 (Mar). Estimated Project Completion 2Q10 (Jun).
