PEC Reports® produced through the second quarter of 2002 (2Q02)

The PEC Report® identifies projects with long enough lead-times for equipment, material, energy, and construction service companies, as well as, architectural, engineering and technology firms, to pursue pre-qualification and specification opportunities well into the future. IIR offers coverage on Projects-in-Progress (PIPs) which are PEC Reports® that were previously reported but still have future bid and quotation dates pending.
2001 PEC Report® Key Need Analysis
In the year 2001, IIR reported 7,498 projects in North America valued at $563.5 billion. Of these PEC Reports®, over 231,000 bidding or equipment opportunities requirements identified by specific key needs. As illustrated in the chart above, the 231,000 requirements are further summarized into six major opportunity categories.
