SUGAR LAND--March 9, 2012--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Praxair Incorporated (NYSE:PX) (Danbury, Connecticut) is under way with the planning and construction of various over-the-fence air separation and hydrogen production units in Tennessee, Louisiana and Texas. The company is nearing completion on the construction of a new air separation plant in Memphis, Tennessee. The facility is expected to be complete by the end of this month and will produce 450 tons per day of oxygen and nitrogen. The new site will supply the gases to the adjacent Valero (NYSE:VLO) refinery.
