
SUGAR LAND--January 15, 2013--Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--A Connecticut renewable energy project that "died 15 or 20 times" in recent years is alive and well, thanks to a December investment by Dominion Resources Incorporated (NYSE:D) (Richmond, Virginia). In a late-December announcement, Dominion said it purchased a 15-megawatt (MW), natural gas-powered fuel cell generating project that had been under development for more than four years. The Connecticut Post reported the value of the project at $125 million.
