ISTANBUL--February 25, 2013--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Italian energy firm ENI SpA (NYSE:E) (Rome) is trying to abolish the take-or-pay principle in natural gas contracts with Russia's state-owned gas monopoly Gazprom OAO (OTC:OGZPY) (Moscow). According to Russian daily Vedomosti, ENI has launched a new round of talks with Gazprom over the terms of the gas supply contracts.
