GALWAY, IRELAND--July 30, 2013 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Plans to erect almost 300 wind turbines off the Lincolnshire and Norfolk coast of the U.K. have been given the green light by the Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC).

The Triton Knoll windfarm will be capable of generating 1,200-megawatts (MW) of energy, enough to power approximately 900,000 homes.
