Vestas Keeps Top Spot in Global Wind Turbine Ranking as GE Falls to Sixth

SUGAR LAND--March 13, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Consulting and research firm MAKE has released its list of the top 15 global wind turbine manufacturers of 2013. Vestas Wind Systems (Denmark) maintained its No. 1 spot from 2012. General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) (Fairfield Connecticut) dropped from second to sixth place, while Chinese manufacturers dominated the top half of the list.
