Europe Could Cut Gas Imports by 26%
GALWAY, IRELAND--March 21, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Europe could reduce its reliance on gas imports by over a quarter by pushing ahead with a higher renewable energy target for 2030.
The statistic, based on the European Commission's (E.C.'s) own findings, was highlighted this week in a call to European Union (E.U.) foreign ministers by the by European Wind Energy Association (EWEA).
