Scotland Clears Two Offshore Windfarms
GALWAY, IRELAND--March 25, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) The Scottish government has green lit two large offshore windfarms in the outer Moray Firth which together will be capable of powering over one million homes.
Permission has been granted for the Moray Offshore Renewables Limited (MORL) and the Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Limited (BOWL) projects which lie adjacent to each other around 22 kilometres (km) off the Caithness coast.
