Indiana's $1.1 Billion Pioneer Transmission Project Faces Delays
SUGAR LAND--April 16, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--It's taking longer than expected to complete a front-end engineering & design (FEED) study for a grassroot, 765-kilovolt (kV), extra-high-voltage transmission project that will link the Greentown Station in Kokomo, Indiana, with the Rockport Station in Evansville, Indiana. The 290-mile line is a joint venture between Duke Energy Corporation (NYSE:DUK) (Charlotte, North Carolina) and American Electric Power Company Incorporated (NYSE:AEP) (Columbus, Ohio).
