SUGAR LAND--April 23, 2014--Reported by Annette Kreuger, Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--In no small part thanks to Uncle Sam, the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region has 163 active life science projects representing a whopping $8 billion in capital investment. Out of that total, 115 have future kick-off dates and carry a total investment value (TIV) of $3.5 billion. A number of the corporate-sourced construction projects received a healthy share of funding courtesy of the U.S. government.
