E.ON to Repower Welsh Windfarm
GALWAY, IRELAND--June 23, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) E.ON has revealed plans for its proposed repowering of the old Rhyd-y-Groes windfarm near Amlwch on the island of Anglesey off the north west coast of Wales.
Working with Eurus Energy UK Ltd (London, England) E.ON Climate & Renewables (Coventry, England), part of German energy major E.ON (XETRA:EOAN) (Düsseldorf, Germany), has kicked off the process by inviting local community members to attend public exhibition sessions on how it plans to replace the 24 existing turbines with 12 modern turbines.
