New Zealand's Trustpower Buys Five Australian Renewable Power Plants for $72 Million
PERTH, AUSTRALIA--June 30, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources Australia (Perth, Australia)--The New South Wales (NSW) government confirmed the sale of its renewable energy assets in Australia to New Zealand's electricity generation and retailing company, Trustpower Limited (Bay of Plenty, New Zealand). The $72 million sale includes five power plants. These plants could generate $7 million to $8 million in earnings, before deductions for Trustpower, the company said.
