Golden Pass Products Files FERC Application for Texas LNG Export Terminal
SUGAR LAND--July 10, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Earlier this week, Golden Pass Products LLC (Houston, Texas), a joint venture of Qatar Petroleum International (Doha, Qatar) (70%) and Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) (Irving, Texas) (30%), announced that it had applied with the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to construct and operate a liquefied natural gas (LNG) production and export facility at Sabine Pass, in Jefferson County, Texas. The facility will be located on the site of Golden Pass LNG's existing LNG import facility.
