Algeria Plans to Begin Production in Six Gas Fields
ISTANBUL--July 10, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Algerian state-run energy group Sonatrach plans to begin gas production in six fields, with a total capacity of 74 million cubic meters per day, in the next three years, the official APS news agency reported. Algeria, a major supplier to European gas markets, has been struggling to increase its production, upon which the government relies heavily to fund financial development and social programs.
