Europe's 3.7 billion Injection for Bio Industry
GALWAY, IRELAND--July 28, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) The European Union (E.U.) and the region's emerging bio-based industry have joined forces to launch a 3.7 billion ($5 billion) programme to boost the production of bio-based fuels, chemicals and materials.
Over the coming decade the European Commission (E.C.) will provide 975 million with a further 2.7 billion coming from the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC) to develop the emerging bio-economy sector.
