Phillips 66 Breaks Ground on $1 Billion LPG Export Facility on Texas Gulf Coast

SUGAR LAND--August 15, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Phillips 66 (NYSE:PSX) (Houston, Texas) on Wednesday held the groundbreaking ceremony for construction of its new liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production and export terminal in Freeport, Texas. When completed, the facility will have the capacity to produce and export up to 4.4 million barrels per month of LPGs, such as propane and butane. The $1 billion facility is expected to begin operating in mid-2016.
