China's July Power Consumption Rises 3% from Year Earlier

BEIJING--August 18, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources China (Beijing, China)--China consumed 509.7 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in power in July, a 3% increase from a year earlier, the National Energy Administration said. For the first seven months of the year, power consumption totaled 3,137.4 billion kWh, an increase of 4.9% over the same period last year.
