GALWAY, IRELAND--August 25, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Investment plans for a new biomass combined heat and power (CHP) plant near the world famous Macallan whisky distillery in Scotland have been agreed.

Developer Estover Energy Ltd (Estover), John Laing (London) and the U.K. government's Green Investment Bank (GIB) have decided to go ahead with the construction of the Speyside biomass project, near Craigellachie, Moray.
