North Sea Gudrun Platform Officially Opened

GALWAY, IRELAND--September 2, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) The Norwegian Prime Minister has officially opened the Gudrun oil and gas platform in the North Sea.

Gudrun is the first platform on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS) to be operated by Statoil ASA (NYSE:STO) (Stavangar, Norway) since the Kristin platform opened in 2005.
