Delays Hit 75% of Nuclear Projects
GALWAY, IRELAND--September 24, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) At least three out of four new nuclear reactor projects under construction around the world are suffering delays ranging from months to decades.
Announcing the "The World Nuclear Industry Status Report 2014", Mycle Schneider, Paris-based international consultant on energy and nuclear policy and lead author, said that 49 of 66 projects currently underway are behind schedule, which drives up the costs.
