China's Cement Output Rises 3.5% in First Eight Months of 2014

BEIJING--October 6, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources China (Beijing, China)--China produced 1.59 billion tonnes of cement during the first eight months of this year, an increase of 3.5% over the same period in 2013, according to data released by China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). Flat-glass production from January through August totaled 547.7 million weight boxes, an increase of 5% over the same period last year.
