World Bank Makes $519 Million Loan for Morocco's Solar Project
JOHANNESBURG--October 8, 2014--Written by Richard Finlayson, Senior International Editor for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The World Bank (Washington D.C.) has made a $519 million loan available to Morocco to partially fund two solar power plants, with a total capacity of 350 megawatts (MW). The projects will form the next phases of the country's 500-MW Ouarzazate solar project.
