IMF Downgrades Global Growth Forecast Amid Geopolitical Concerns
ISTANBUL--October 10, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has downgraded its outlook for global growth in 2014 and 2015, citing geopolitical threats from Ukraine, the Middle East, the Ebola virus and a possible recession in the Eurozone countries. The IMF has scaled down its global growth forecast from 3.4% to 3.3% for this year, while it predicted 3.8% growth, compared with a July prediction of 4%.
