Hess Reports $1 Billion Third-Quarter Earnings, Tubular Bells Offshore Project to Start Production
SUGAR LAND--October 30, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Oil and gas exploration and production company Hess Corporation (NYSE:HES) (New York, New York) reported its third-quarter net income rose to more than $1 billion from $440 million a year earlier, reflecting the sale of its downstream retail business. Adjusted net income, which excludes items affecting comparability, was $377 million, compared with $405 million in the year-ago quarter.
