Dunkirk Port LNG Project Advances

GALWAY, IRELAND--November 5, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland)--The construction of liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering operation at the Port of Dunkirk in northern France has advanced, following the announcement that partners have been chosen.

The Port of Dunkirk, following on from a call for expressions of interest (CEI) in May, has decided to contract a consortium of Dunkerque LNG, Air Liquide and Exmar for the construction of a marine station specifically dedicated to LNG bunkering, which could accommodate ships with capacities of between 2,000 and 20,000 cubic metres (m3).
