Ecuador Plans to Build First Petrochemical Complex

CORDOBA, ARGENTINA--November 13, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Petroecuador (Quito, Ecuador), which is Ecuador's national hydrocarbon company, and its Venezuelan counterpart PDVSA (Caracas, Venezuela) have formed a joint venture to build a petrochemical complex on the western coast of Ecuador. The joint venture plans to attract private investors, or an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company, to take part in the development of the proposed Eloy Alfaro complex.
