Construction Under Way on $105 Million Tennessee Pulp and Paper Mill Upgrade
SUGAR LAND--February 16, 2015--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Resolute Forest Products (NYSE:RFP) (Montreal, Quebec) has started construction on a $105 million capital project that will see an upgrade of the pulp fiberline at the company's pulp and paper mill complex in Calhoun, Tennessee. Project plans call for installing a new low-solids, continuous digester supplied by ANDRITZ (Graz, Austria), while idling eight older and smaller batch digesters.
