Algeria-Qatar JV Steel Mill to Add 5 Million Tons by 2019
JOHANNESBURG--March 13, 2015--Written by Richard Finlayson, Senior International Editor for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--A joint venture (JV) between Algerian company Sider and the National Investment Fund (51%) with Qatar International (49%) has laid the foundation to begin construction of a steel complex. The facility will be located in the locality of Bellara in Jijal province, 375 kilometers (km) east of the capital Algiers.
