Feds Greenlight Construction for $1.25 Billion National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility in Kansas
SUGAR LAND--March 24, 2015--Reported by Annette Kreuger, Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--After almost a decade of planning, construction is set to begin this spring on the $1.25 billion National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) in Manhattan, Kansas. Earlier this month, lawmakers approved the remaining $300 million needed to build the nearly 600,000-square-foot research facility, located adjacent to the Kansas State University campus.
