Gas-Flaring Rule Reduces North Dakota Crude-Oil Production

SUGAR LAND--April 14, 2015--Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--North Dakota's initiative to reduce natural-gas flaring has caused some companies to voluntarily reduce crude-oil production, and the state has imposed production restrictions on six oil & gas producers so far this year, according to the North Dakota Industrial Commission (NDIC) (Bismarck, North Dakota), the state's oil and gas regulatory agency.
