Alstom Upgrading Sweden's Ligga Hydropower Plant

GALWAY, IRELAND--April 22, 2015 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) French engineering firm Alstom S.A. (Euronext:ALO) (Paris, France) has won a contract to upgrade one of three turbines at the Ligga hydropower station in Sweden.

The contract was awarded by Sweden's state-owned energy giant Vattenfall AB (Stockholm, Sweden) after 'fierce competition'.
