China's Crude Steel Output Drops for First Time in 20 Years

BEIJING--July 30, 2015--Researched by Industrial Info Resources China (Beijing, China)--China's crude steel output in the first half of 2015 fell 1.3% from the same period last year to 410 million tonnes, marking the first such reduction in 20 years, according to the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA). Steel output in China may have peaked out, the association said.
