SUGAR LAND--February 5, 2016--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The Salem Nuclear Power Station, located in Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey, tripped offline the 1,175-megawatt (MW) Unit 02 reactor due to electrical issues. The station is jointly owned by PSEG Nuclear LLC (57%), a subsidiary of Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated (NYSE:PEG) (Newark, New Jersey) and 43% by Exelon Generation LLC (43%), a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation (NYSE:EXC) (Chicago, Illinois).
